The New Year has arrived and Bird On A Perch has plenty in store to see that you get started off on the right foot {quite literally}. As part of our January line-up Angie is offering another weekly Meditation Series, and Elise has an upcoming Franklin Method workshop that will help students improve daily function by bringing more attention to their foundation, the feet. WINTER MEDITATION SERIES

If you’re looking for a tool to help you through the winter months, join Angie for her next Meditation Series. Kicking off at 6:45PM on Monday, January 8th this five-week series is designed to expose students of all experience levels to a variety of meditation techniques.
  • January 8th: Breathing into Meditation I
  • January 15th: Yoga A Gateway to Meditation
  • January 22nd: Dealing with Anxiety and Fear
  • January 29th: Mindfulness
  • February 5th: Self-Love and Acceptance
Angie looks forward to the opportunity to chill, relax, and share her passion for meditation with all of you. Attend the whole series for $45, or drop-in to individual sessions for $10.

FOUNDATIONS FOR DAILY MOVEMENT

Join Elise from 2:00 to 4:00PM on Saturday, January 13th for her workshop – Foundations for Daily Movement. Applying Franklin Method concepts to regular movement habits students will learn to bring more joy and ease into their daily lives!  With a special focus on the Feet, our Dynamic Base, this workshop will explore a variety of topics including: 

  • The anatomy and function of the feet
  • Imagery tools to increase balance and reduce pain
  • Exercises to improve function, coordination, and flexibility

Join Elise to move, to play, and to feel awesome. The investment for this two-hour workshop is $30.
